I have just learned that Paul Van Der Sloot, the father of Joran Van Der Sloot, who is hiding out in Thailand, died of a heat attack last night while playing tennis near him home in Aruba.  Joran Van Der Sloot is suspected in the death of teen Natalee Holloway, but was never charged. He has changed his story several times. I spent 2 weeks with Van Der Sloot in Thailand, while he recanted yet another version of what happened to Natalee that night on the beach.  Van der Sloot’s father, Paul, was a judge and an attorney in Aruba, and many believed he knew more about his son’s involvement in Holloway’s disappearance than he let on. I wonder what secrets Paul took to his grave? Stay tuned for more details.

As I mentioned, I spent 2 weeks (2 separate trips) in Thailand locating and interiewing Joran Van Der Sloot. He had a new story about what happened to Natalee. Here are the last known pictures of Van Der Sloot from the Summer of 2008. He was involved in some shadey dealings there, which made me nervous. I wonder if he’s even still alive?

  1. Ha! Wonder how many other other young ladies who “went missing from casinos” belong to van der sloot. This time “daddy” isn’t around to protect this slime bag. His dad died a year ago. Remember how the old man kept bailing his psycho ass out. Spinning tales, and dodging the mass media onslaught. Using his clout to protect that murdering s.o.b. Family members of the new victim say she was last seen with van der Sloot at a local casino. (Same M.O.) The hotel room in which her body was found was also reportedly registered in van der Sloot’s name. Hmm. He’s on the run, too.

  2. If I was a member of the Holloway family I would find a pen pal in his Peruvian prison, preferrably named “Bubba” and make a very good friend of him…maybe even take care of his family financially in return for the deed…you know… “dirty deeds done dirt cheap” gone away the hard way little rich Joran! he he!

  3. Whos father would not bail him out of trouble if he could. Lets hear the evidence first and then decide what is happening we are so quick to judge when we are not in the hot seat. Is the crime sick hell yes is he sick well he is a kid and he has no boundries. Not an excuse but a fact.

  4. I totally agree to “lets hear the evidence first”. We have run-away bloggers and media that put out information that is untrue……. with a lynch mob attitude. Where has the credibility gone to? Please stick to the facts only.

  5. True Wait to we here all the evidence, a person is considered innocent till proven guilty. But, if it looks like a duck, and quacks like a duck, then it is a duck!!!!!!

  6. Nice post! You truly have a wonderful way of writing which I find captivating! I will definitely be bookmarking you and returning to your blog. In fact, your post reminded me about a strange thing that happened to me the other day. I’ll tell you about that later…

  7. Well,I believe we have enough evidence already. He was seen on hotel cameras with the girl. He has also admitted to the crime. What other facts do you need? Come on,really? Thats the problem now. The murderers are handled like saints. What about the beautiful girls lives that he decided to take? We need a lynch mob so these lunatics might think twice about thier actions. The laws are too soft on these life takers! What happened to hard physical labor in prisons? Not to mention the outrageous price we pay to support them in there. Those are facts!
